Romans 12:12 says "For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ." in that vein we must edify each other for the work of the Lord and prepare one another for the part we have to play the Kingdom of God.
Mens Ministries
Doxa's Men at the Gate, headed by Dr. J Anthony Murray is a minstry devoted to helping men of the world live up to the calling that God has destined for them. Through prayer, mediation, and acceptance of God's will the Covenant Men set the Christian standard and example for the men of the Earth. With God's blessing Covenant Men are able to uphold their responsibilities of being Godly men. Covenant Men are to be servants with wholehearted devotion and an unwilling mind toward God as declared in 1 Chronicles 28:9, "And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever."
Womens Ministries
Doxa Women at the Well, headed up by Dr. Lavern AW. Murray is a ministry listening to the hearts of women coming to the well of the Spirit. It is a movement for women all over the earth, a new era for women truly become what the King of Glory has destined for their lives by being empowered to lead a life filled with joy, peace, and love and never based upon the conditions of their surroundings, their social status, their financial status, their career or their human relationships, but solely upon what God the Father has said that they are. The purpose is to encourage growth and development of women in every area of their lives through the Word of God as declared in John 4:13-14 "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
Youth Ministries
Doxa's youth group is called "Ignited" because they are on fire for Christ.Their purpose and vision is declared in I Timothy 4: 12-16 "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set and example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. Until I come devote yourself to the public reading of scripture, to the preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourselves wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do you will save both yourself and your hearers." With this strong call on their lives, Ignited has stepped up to fulfill their destinies in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
EXTERNAL DMCWW MINISTRIES
Doxa has a passion and a mission to go and take the gospel and the love of God to all who would receive. As God commands us in Matthew 28:19, “So go and make followers of all the people of the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father, and in the Son, and in the Holy Spirit.”
Street Outreach + Evangilism
We purpose to glorify God by imitating Him as dear children. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. We so love the Lord that we take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the highways and byways of the world. Whether on a street corner, a parking lot, or a public amphitheater the ministry shows the way to salvation and entrance into God’s Kingdom through faith in Jesus Christ.
Nursing Home Ministries
Through this ministry we dedicate our love and time to ministering God’s Word to those in nursing homes who can no longer get to a local church assembly. We serve our elderly in several Baltimore communities where we share love, provide encouragement and give donations to those nursing care facilities and their residents.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Each Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. join us on Zoom for a virtual group study of the precious Word og God.
Marital + Family Counseling
Our Pastors and Elders provide encouragement, teaching and guidance at the direction Holy Spirit for married couples, families and engaged couples. It is through God's Word that families may enjoy the benefit of a healthy covenantal relationship. These services are available to the community at large.
Doxa Prayer Line
1 Thessaionians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." God has commanded that we stay vigilant in prayer. Join us on our international prayer line open Monday - Wednsday, Friday -Saturday after 8:00 pm.
